Eyes

Eyeliner or lash enhancement is applied to the lash line and above to create shape and definition. This procedure is great for people that have a unsteady hand or are sensitive to wearing eye makeup. Lash enhancement is a soft natural look that gives the base of the eye lashes a fuller and thicker look. Providing eyeliner can give you a more defined look that will look amazing all day long with no smudge.

A: You can check out our Pennsylvania rates here.
What to expect after my eyeliner procedure?
A: There is no down time with this procedure. You can expect slight swelling and redness in eyelid area like you have been crying heavy. The color will be darker like a heavier make-up look for several days after the procedure until it goes through it’s exfoliation process. This will take about a full 7-10 days to heal. After care forms are available on our site for further information.
How long will my eyeliner last?
A: Permanent cosmetics is a permanent procedure; however, they may need to be refreshed after several years. Many factors may affect your permanent cosmetics, including sun exposure, metabolism, skin type, and lifestyle. Smoking may fade color and certain face lotions that contain Retin-A may also fade your cosmetics. Subtle colors and delicate styles may fade more rapidly than bold or intense styles. Results vary with different individuals.
What’s a touch up for eyeliner?
A: Often the tattooed color is not perfect after the initial procedure heals. Permanent cosmetic procedures is a process and at least one follow-up to the initial procedure should be scheduled. It is recommended that any required detail work to the original procedure be performed no sooner than four weeks after the original procedure. It is more common to loose more color on the bottom lid than the top. This procedure is not considered complete until follow up is performed and healed.
Can I still have an MRI?
A: Numerous studies have shown that even for people who have large body tattoos there is little to no potential for irritation resulting from an MRI. In the rare instance where discomfort resulted, it was localized and very temporary. However, with that said, it is prudent to advise your MRI technician that you have permanent cosmetics or medical tattooing.

How much pain will there be?
A: There is very little discomfort with this procedure we will use a topical anesthetic that works great so you don’t feel uncomfortable during your procedure.
Is this a smart investment?
A: Well YES! Throw away your pencils powders and other daily hassles who needs that stress anymore, when you can have more natural results with permanent cosmetics.

Happy Clients!

  • “Monica, Starting with my first glance this morning in the Bathroom Mirror, and EVERY time since (I admit; I’ve been looking all day!) I have seen someone with gorgeous , youthful, beautifully shaped/colored/realistic eyebrows – instead of seeing someone with NO eyebrows who looks (had looked) like an Alien! It’s been SO wonderful! I LOVE THEM – each little perfect stroke/cut of ink! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!! Thank you! I feel extra fortunate that you continue to work and offer to clients/patients your Art/extraordinary Ability/Skills.”

  • “I wish I had done this sooner. I can shower/dress so fast, now, that it no longer keeps me from working out or having fun because I might have to redo. I also was having difficulty seeing up close to apply my make-up. Sometimes my eyes sting when I’m out, and now I can just wash out whatever they are reacting to, powder and go. It is so freeing!! No more lip prints, raccoon eyes, smudges, or wearing off. And, I get to wake up with it all, too. Mandy even filled in some white spots/scars that I had difficulty covering (face/leg). It’s great! Mandy’s great, too. Very professional and personable. Big thanks.”

    Elise S
  • “Best decision ever. Now I don’t worry about putting makeup on them everyday like I had to before because I had a part for my brow that had no hair due to a surgery. I would recommend this to everyone. “

( I went to Dr. Wu’s office at UPenn) – I have even sent two friends to you- Thank you so much and have a wonderful week!!”

  • “Mandy is that wonderful combination of the health care professional and artist, whose skill makes a profound difference in the lives of our breast cancer patients,” says Joseph M. Serletti, chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Penn Medical School and head of HUP’s breast reconstruction team.”

Dr. Joseph M. Serletti, MD, Chief of Plastic Surgery
  • “About 2 weeks ago I had a mammogram on my “new” transflapped breast. I have some fat necrosis that the doctors wanted to confirm was not cancer. So, I go into the mammography room at the breast clinic here in Harrisburg and present my breast to the clinician, who does 20-30 mammograms a day. She then pulls a “marker” off a strip and plants it right on the tattoo you gave me (my new nipple) on January 10, 2014 at Penn. The marker is enclosed and is a symbol of your expertise.

That tattoo is so realistic that the woman thought it was a genuine nipple at first glance. I said, “that’s not a nipple, that’s a tattoo” and she was floored. She said that she’d never been fooled before and wondered where I had found such a great artist.

A heartfelt thank you for a job well done!”

    Jeanne H. Schmedlen
